James Paul

Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Practitioner

James Paul graduated from La Trobe University with a Masters in Physiotherapy and has recently joined Head to Toe Healthcare.  He has always had a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, his therapies include but are not limited to manual therapy, massage, taping, electrotherapy modalities as well as Clinical Pilates in which he has completed training with Dance Medicine Australia.

James’ interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation comes from his interest in sports and the human body.  His skills are beneficial for occupational, ongoing and acute issues and injuries.  He currently plays football with the Old Haileybury Amateur Football Club, and unfortunately for him has dealt with a number of his own injuries, meaning he has experience on both sides of the consultation!

His treatment approach combines strong manual skills with high quality exercise rehabilitation and with this combination he helps clients recover from injuries, improve their posture and increase their sporting performance.  He uses Pilates equipment such as the reformer and trapeze table, along with small weights and balance equipment to provide a challenging but safe exercise program specific to the goals and abilities of the individual.

He works in collaboration with our entire team of osteopaths, physiotherapists, myotherapists and massage therapists.  You do not require a referral to see James and he is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

James is available at our Hampton clinic and is registered for private health fund rebates through our HICAPS machine.
